Two of the Three

When I come home from work, these two are usually at the back door waiting to dart through the house to the garage to be fed the their favorite treat - wet cat food. They think they are starving, they sure do like they are starving, NOT.

Quilt for Lesley

I am making a scrappy quilt for Lesley. She liked the quilt that the Piece Makers group in Australia made blocks called Cobblestones or Snow Ball. The blocks are made from material from her Great Great Grandmother Barnes, Great Grandmother Koontz, and Grandma Pike, the Maid of Honor's dress Lesley wore in her sisters wedding, clothes made for her, Aunt Ana's Scrubs, and a few quilt projects I have made over the years, Fred's shirt and Halloween outfits of Harris and Eloise. It is a scrappy quilt with with memories. I have a big tote of scraps to cut into squares, so it will be interesting to see what fabrics go into this quilt. The quilt it made up of four inch blocks, 25 blocks long and 22 blocks wide. Yes I have plenty of scraps to finish the quilt.

Wayne's Harley Davidson quilt.

This is one of my projects that I am working on. This quilt top is for Wayne Miller, it is his Harley Davidson T-shirts collection. The top is done, now for the back of the quilt, I am using the fronts of the T-Shirts. The quilt top is of the backs of the T-shirts, per instructions from Wayne-o himself.

Christmas Gift

For Christmas I received this box from Fred, I must admit I am a little slow, I looked at this really small box, with a picture of a sewing machine. Thank you Amber for turning the light on for me. "Mom it is a picture of a sewing machine. " My Christmas gift was in transit, so Santa was going to be a little late on delivery. On December 29th I became a proud owner of a Little Brother light weight sewing machine. I LOVE IT. Thanks Honey Bun.

My new traveling sewing machine. I also have a carry case, and 1/4 inch foot, and duel feed foot and extra bobbins. I love this little machine, it sews great.........
